St. Michael
St. Michael is an Archangel and appears in both Jewish, Muslim and Christian tradition. He is viewed as the good Angel of Death and as the field commander of the Army of God. Archangel Michael is the one who drove satan out of heaven when he rebelled against God. He is mentioned and called upon to intercede in many prayers for protection, deliverance and exorcism. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who wander through the world for ruin of souls. Amen.
